Ealing Blues Summer Festival
Walopole Park, Mattock Lane, Ealing, London W5 5EQ
Since its humble beginnings in 1987, the Ealing Blues Festival has become one of the biggest and most popular Blues events in Britain.
Last year’s attendance hit 10,000 visitors, making it London’s biggest Blues Festival!
Ealing has always been regarded as one of the spiritual homes of British Blues, largely due to the fledgling Rolling Stones having been formed in the Ealing Club. In a link to that heritage, for 2009 we are proud to present one of Britain’s best Blues‘n’Roots musicians, Chris Jagger.
The Blues originated in America, and this year we are pleased to welcome three of America’s finest Blues musicians who have taken up residency in the UK, LeBurn Maddox, Adrian Byron Burns & Guy Tortora – drummer Sam Kelly returns to the festival with Primo Blue.
Performing with 3rd Degree Leburn – on the Main Stage @ 4:30 PM
A great summer day out…see you there!!!

New Site!

I’m proud to announce the launch of my new music website designed to keep you updated with the latest news, photos, music and videos. Over the past few months I’ve been involved in several projects with Sam Kelly including Station House, Cymande and Soul Britannia where we performed at the Ealing Blues & Roots Festival and the Grey Horse in Kingston – this involved putting on my percussion hat to flavour the rhythmic section.
I have also picked up sticks and dusted off chops to perform and collaborated with several wonderful local musicians at Jam Nights at Drayton Arms (Ealing), Tune-Inn (Acton), The Unicorn (Camden), Middlesex Arms (Ruislip), Cardinal Wolsey (Hampton), Alexandra Arms (Finchley) and the Undersolo Bar (Camden).
Some great moments with the underground of hidden local talent and these have been documented on blogs such as Global Jam.
Please bear with me as I continue collect all relevant information and components for developing this site.
Thank you for stopping by, why not leave a comment to say hi?
Thanks again!
